1. In one sentence:
We are certified according to CMS IV because…
We are certified according to CMS IV because…
…we believe it is important that our industry finally establishes quality standards. The certification makes the quality we offer our clients as an agency visible across many key aspects.
2. Why is there a need for an international quality label like CMS for agencies?
With increasing internationalisation, objective standards improve comparability. All certified agencies have demonstrated that they operate according to high standards and can therefore be a reliable partner for clients.
3. What has the certification concretely brought to your agency?
The certification helped us closely review and formalise our processes – for example in areas such as financial planning, project management, and employee management. In doing so, we also identified gaps and were able to successfully address them.
4. Why would you recommend other colleagues pursue CMS certification for their agency?
For exactly the reasons mentioned above. Certification does require effort, but it is worthwhile. We see it as a development tool. During each recertification, we can clearly see what we have initiated and improved over the past two years – and where we still need to develop further. Of course, CMS IV does not cover everything an agency can do. Elements such as company culture, dynamism, and creativity cannot be standardised – and that is not the intention.
5. How does the CMS label support you in business development?
So far, it has not provided any benefit. Unfortunately, the label is not widely known.
6. What impact does the label have internally – on your employees?
During the preparation and execution of our second recertification, we involved the team much more extensively for the first time. This was perceived very positively, as it gave them the opportunity to see the agency as a whole beyond their individual roles. It has strengthened identification and the sense of being able to actively contribute.
7. What would you like to see in the future development of CMS? What is missing today?
We would like the standard to offer advantages in public tenders or even become a requirement for participation.
